Site Characterization
Knowing how a site is changing is important, but knowing what defines your site and its baselines conditions comes first. Watching over the work conducted and changes taking place is only helpful if you have reference points to compare to. Site characterization is a great way to have quantifiable data about your site if its the first day of work or years into a project. If you need site information from the air, on the ground or under water, we've got you covered!
UAV Remote Sensing
We use a cutting edge fleet of hi-tech UAVs and an always changing array of optical sensors at AppSciTec. These tools can get you calibrated multispectral, optical orthophoto with cm accuracy, 3D photogrammetry, thermal imagery, or just plain old cool video tours of your site to track progress and look for anomalies that need your attention. Covering large areas with these tools gives you the most information with the least amount of time in the field.
USV Remote Sensing
AppSciTec has custom built several bathymetric survey vessel as well as two remotely operated submersibles as a way to quantify and inspect what is happening below water. This environment is not always easy to keep an eye on but this sometimes overlooked aspect of work sites doesn't have to be shrouded in mystery.
We can map, model, video or inspect just about anything under water so you aren't left wondering "What's going on down there?". Visit the homepage for some examples.
