Environmental Monitoring

Monitoring goes hand in hand with land use and development. Whether you are involved in active mining & remediation, forestry and habitat rehabilitation, or land use change and development, we have the tools to monitor and quantify changes on the ground. That is one more box checked in giving collaborators peace of mind about where your project is going.

Sensor Data

Check out some data collection here!

The AppSciTec team has an integration background installing sensors into either ground based or remotely collected platforms so you know what is and isn't happening in the environment around you. If the site isn't conducive to a fixed monitoring station, we have a patented Water Sampling Plate (WaSP) payload for UAVs to conduct a variety of data collections that fulfill your monitoring program needs.

If its 800+ ft deep in an acid rock drainage mine pit or a mile away as the crow flies (or both!), we have been there and done that.

Physical Samples

Numbers and pictures are a great way to monitor the environment, but sometimes nothing tells you more than a physical sample of the medium you are studying. Not all worksites allow people to go everywhere due to safety hazards and logistical hurdles. That is where remotely operated aircraft and boats give us an edge.

Between our patented sampling plate and extensive equipment catalog for water and sediment samples, AppSciTec can bring back a sample from the field in places you never thought possible while keeping your workforce out of harms way. Visit our main page to see project examples!
